Welcome to Therapy with Danielle
Danielle Slater, MA, Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist in St. Albans. (Full UKCP Clinical Registration)
UKCP-registered transpersonal, integrative psychotherapist offering a wide range of individualised therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, confidence, and all of life's transitions.
I provide both in-person and online therapy for adults who want to understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change that releases burdens and allows for a more connected, fruitful and authentic version of self.
My therapeutic approach integrates transpersonal psychology, humanistic approaches, relational psychotherapy, somatic (body) work and processing, and trauma-informed practice.
I work collaboratively and at your pace, helping you develop insight, emotional resilience and healthier patterns of relating that have a lasting permanence.
How I Work
Sessions draw on a broad range of techniques depending on the client, incorporating but not limited to traditional talking therapy and including IFS (the very popular and powerful 'parts work').
I offer trauma processing tools, visualisation, emotional-regulation tools, guided dreamwork, mindfulness and creative techniques to help you reconnect with your inner and limitless resources, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Your Healing Journey
Each session is crafted to support your unique journey. Choose from various formats that suit your comfort and lifestyle including traditional psychotherapy in person or online, or immersive forest walk sessions.

Who I work with
I work with adults and young people seeking greater clarity, navigating life shifts, psychological motivation and emotional wellbeing.
Many of my clients come to therapy during times of transition or unease, whether that’s navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges or life crises.
Other clients are drawn to explore deeper questions around identity and existential, spiritual life questions.
Some are curious about simply reconnecting with nature and exploring the benefits of forest walking whilst processing material.
I offer a unique tool in forest therapy, which I have created myself and offer to clients. This work is rich and efficacious to the client who loves the outdoors, and perhaps finds the idea of talking therapy too sedentary.
Why Choose Me
With 15 years of clinical training and experience, I provide coaching and psychotherapy that integrates mind, body, and spirit. My approach is curious, insightful and grounded, blending traditional talking therapy with visualisations and creative tools if clients wish.
My clients report lasting and profound changes through the sense of empowerment and through finally feeling at ease with themselves.
